A new Design Technology block for St Joseph’s Catholic School

Hookway is delighted to be once again working with St Joseph’s Catholic School in Laverstock on an exciting new project. The School is, like many others, experiencing increasing numbers of students and needs further and improved facilities to meet the demand of the modern curriculum.

Hookway has worked with the school and O’LearyGoss architects to develop outline proposals for a new Design Technology block to house IT suites, domestic science and design and technology rooms, along with all the other ancillary areas that are required.

We were also able to work with the Board of Governeors and the school to help obtain funding for the project. Work is planned to start on site in the new year and the project will be managed by Hookway.

As part of a masterplan for the school, the building will be designed to allow the future building of a second phase of additional classrooms as and when funding is available. The proposals have been a big success with the school and are now being developed further.
